Completely by accident, floating in space in a block of ice.

I don't know. Mr. Yang thinks it might have been... a while. I guess it only took them a day or two to get me out of the ice, at least.

[ It's not something he would wish on anyone, the loss of precious memories. When he first awoke in this form, with an entire identity crafted for him that he stepped into as if it were his own, he could still feel the ache of something missing, and when he had regained the truth of his existence, it had broken his heart.
